What is a paint correction?

Polishing the paintwork in a single stage, using just one polish and pad combination, is ideal for surfaces that are already in good condition, lacking visible swirls, and presenting only slight imperfections. Our machine polish process is designed to refine the paintwork using only a finishing polish and pad, which typically isn't abrasive enough to eliminate swirl marks and scratches. This step is concluded with the application of wax or a paint sealant for protection.

Stage 2 Paint Correction is appropriate for vehicles with moderate swirl marks and light scratches. It involves two distinct polish and pad combinations. The initial step typically employs a cutting (abrasive) polish or compound to eliminate imperfections like swirl marks, light scratches, and other moderate paint defects. Then, a finishing polish and pad are used to further refine the paintwork by removing any marring or holograms resulting from the first step.

Ideal for cars with significant swirl marks, scratches, and other paint defects, this method employs three distinct polish and pad combinations. Initially, a heavy cutting compound paired with a heavy cutting pad eliminates deeper swirl marks and scratches. Subsequently, a cutting polish and polishing pad are applied to further reduce swirl marks. This is followed by a finishing polish and pad to refine the paintwork to a flawless finish, free of swirls, marring, and holograms.
